Job Details Job Location: Resch Complex - On-Site - Green Bay, WI 54304 Position Type: Full Time Job Title: Custodial Supervisor Department: Operations Reports to: Operations Manager Supervises Others: Yes DOL Status: Full-Time Exemption Status: Hourly; Non-Exempt General Summary: Responsible for supervising the event clean-up operations of the Resch Complex. Job Functions: Demonstrates and embodies the PMI Entertainment Group Culture and Customer Service values. Supervises clean-up crew and participates in cleaning and custodial duties. Supervises full and part-time labor. Orients and trains new hires, therefore schedules, assigns, trains, and directs the workload. Supervises facility lead personnel in planning weekly and daily work. Analyzes event service orders and prepares staff schedules. Works plans for clean-up/housekeeping crews. Ensures employees have necessary equipment and supplies to complete the procedure. Supervises the proper use and care of equipment to prevent injury to employees and customers or damage to equipment. Serves as Event Lead which includes opening and securing the building, supervising staff, checking the building for proper set-up and safety as well as maintaining proper heating, cooling, and lighting. Keeps proper inventory of equipment and supplies used during events and for cleaning purposes. Supervises the preparation and installation of the ice floor for hockey and skating events. Follows all company directed guidelines on energy conservation and practices conserving energy with all business practices at PMI. Performs yearly reviews of staff. Communicates maintenance and other problem areas to the Sr. Director of Facilities & Operations. Performs building security functions. Documents all safety, security and potential discipline issues and reports them to the Operations Manager. Documents all attendance issues of scheduled staff (call-in, no show, ask off, etc.). Maintains knowledge of current trends and new developments in the industry by reading appropriate literature and attending related seminars. Perform necessary tasks to maintain and upkeep the facility and existing equipment. Interacts with staff and sets a positive tone to complete tasks according to timelines. Must be professional and maintain a neat appearance for meetings with internal and external customers. Participates in applicant interviews and makes recommendations for hiring. Encourages team-player behavior. Qualifications Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required: Knowledge of maintenance at a level normally acquired through the completion of high school. Approximately 6 to 12 months’ related work experience necessary to gain a full understanding of custodial operations. Interpersonal skills necessary to communicate with all levels of company personnel, outside contractors, and sales personnel when discussing clients’ needs and to direct subordinate personnel. Ability to work days, nights, evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays are required. Due to the nature of the event business, hours of employment will include evenings, weekends, and holidays. Must be able to lift, push, pull and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds. Full range of body motion, manual and finger dexterity to operate cleaning and lawn equipment. Eye-hand coordination to operate equipment such as a truck or forklift. Must be able to operate simple to complex and heavy-duty machinery. Requires vision correctable to 20/20 and hearing within normal range. Frequent mobility and/or sitting or standing required for extended periods of time. Must have a valid driver’s license.
