Description Nemco Food Equipment is committed to keeping a clean and tidy workplace. In this job, you will perform janitorial duties and help implement and sustain visual factory standards. Due to the inherent nature of the position, employee must complete Bloodborne Pathogen Training as needed, and be willing to perform any tasks related to decontamination following OSHA protocol. The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following: Basic housekeeping duties (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, moping, wiping, disinfecting, floor scrubber, etc.) Collection and disposal of trash, recyclables and other items, as needed Painting equipment, walls, floors and outdoor ground striping Monthly cleaning of Nemco House Performing basic TPM’s such as filter, light bulb and coolant changes Outside Grounds work (Lawn Care, Snow Removal, grounds cleanup, etc.) Be Agile and fill in for other assembly or manufacturing personnel on occasion. If this job is one of interest to you, at a minimum, you must have, or the initiative to learn, the following: Proper use of required PPE Ability to keep workspace clean and organized Ability to manage time effectively Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing and assembly operation Work Schedule: Monday-Thursday (4:58am-3:30pm; 10-hour shift) Subject to Change Occasional overtime is required Requirements Relevant Work Experience: No experience necessary- will train PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Standing: Most tasks are performed in a standing position Lifting:?Frequently lifting items weighing 5 lbs. to 10 lbs.; occasionally lifting items weighing up to 50 lbs. Walking:?Frequent walking short distances (less than 1/8 mile). Carrying:?Occasional carrying of bulky items weighing up to 50 lbs. short distances. Pushing: Occasional pushing of standard cleaning accessories to accomplish tasks Pulling: Occasional pulling of standard cleaning accessories to accomplish tasks Bending:?Occasional bending required to perform a variety of tasks. Handling: Occasional handling of items ranging in weight from 5 lbs. to 10 lbs.

Responsibilities

Perform general janitorial duties including cleaning, disinfecting, and waste disposal to maintain workplace standards. Additional tasks include painting, grounds maintenance, and occasional support for assembly or manufacturing personnel.
