Job Details Job Location: FLA-Leesburg Corps - Leesburg, FL 34748 Position Type: Full Time Regular Job Category: Property Schedule/Hours: Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm This position is responsible for: This position is responsible for driving a Salvation Army vehicle in order to transport passengers to and from Salvation Army activities. Drives a Salvation Army vehicle to pick-up food donations and deliver to The Salvation Army Food Services. Performs light non-skilled maintenance, runs essential errands, and helps ensure the neatness of the campus building and grounds. Key Responsibilities: Performs basic grounds maintenance. Provides transportation for members to and from the Corps each Sunday. Provides transportation for children to and from afternoon activities. Picks up and empties trash as necessary, both inside and outside the building. Physical Requirements and Working Conditions: Ability to meet attendance requirements. Ability to read, write and communicate the English language. Ability to drive a vehicle in heavy traffic and extended trips. Ability to spend the night away from home due to extended trips. Ability to exert the physical energy required to performing housekeeping and minor maintenance work. Ability to lift objects that weigh up to 25 lbs. on a frequent basis. Ability to perform continuous walking, stooping, standing, and climbing.
