Burmen Inc. is looking for a Custodian to join our team. The Custodian will handle General cleaning of the building and keeping it maintained and in good condition. This person should have a positive attitude, be enthusiastic and enjoy working with all types of people. Responsibilities: Cleaning: Dust, sweep, mop, vacuum, and sanitize surfaces Maintenance: Perform minor repairs like replacing light bulbs or unclogging pipes Stocking: Keep restrooms supplied with paper towels, toilet paper, and soap Trash: Empty trash and recycling bins, and dispose of trash in compactors or dumpsters Windows: Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors Equipment: Safely operate and maintain cleaning equipment like floor buffers and power washers Grounds: Mow and trim lawns and hedges, and clean snow from sidewalks Requirements: Follow verbal and written instructions Lift and carry up to 50 pounds Squat, twist, bend, and kneel while using tools and performing maintenance tasks Climb ladders and work from heights Be familiar with operating, caring for, and storing custodial equipment and supplies About Burmen Inc.: Opened June 29, 2018!
