Description

Description The Office Cleaner will be responsible for the overall cleanliness of all areas of the facility. Principle Accountabilities Keep common areas of assigned building (s) clean, including hallways, stairwells, building entrances, receiving areas, surrounding parking lots and grounds. Mop, vacuum, dust, wash windows and doors and sweep as required to keep the building clean. Remove trash from assigned building on a daily basis and dispose of in designated area. Remove Recycling on designated days and dispose of in designated area. Remove bulk trash items from building and dispose of in designated area. Police the grounds for litter and trash daily. Assist in cleaning vacant turnover units or other turnover duties as assigned. Respond to after hour maintenance work orders as scheduled on-call or at other requested times of during an emergency situation. Report any required maintenance to Office Manager to be place on work order. Assist with hand watering flowers as requested/needed. The above duties and responsibilities are not intended to include the full scope of work. Other duties may be required as business needs dictate. OTHER or ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES Perform other job-related duties as assigned at the discretion of management. Physical Requirements/Working Environment Continual standing and walking during shift. Continual reaching with hands/fingers/arms during shift. Occasional climbing, balancing, kneeling, and crouching during shift. Must be able to occasionally lift over 50 pounds. Will occasionally encounter toxic chemicals. Requirements Knowledge & Skills: Janitorial experience preferred Punctuality and reliability Honest and exceptional work ethic Ability to solve problems independently Must be able to speak and write English Must be 18 years of age or older Experience & Education: High School Diploma/GED equivalent required. Custodial Experience: 2 years (Preferred) Schedule: 8- 10 hours shift Sunday to Thursday (2pm-10.30pm)

Responsibilities

The custodian is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the facility, including common areas, hallways, and grounds. Duties include mopping, vacuuming, trash removal, and assisting with minor maintenance or turnover tasks.
