Description Primary Responsibilities · Clean and maintain Schluter facility areas including restrooms and outdoor areas · Assist in landscaping · Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping of flooring in assigned areas · Collect trash and replace garbage liners, clean garbage receptacles as necessary · Operate trash/cardboard compactor · Dusting and cleaning of all counters and surrounding areas · Vacuum all associated carpeted areas and mop hard floor areas · Wash, disinfect, and restock all restroom floors, toilets, toilet seats, paper and soap dispensers as required · Perform and/or report minor maintenance repairs and any damages · Assures proper labeling, dilution, and use of all chemicals · Assist Facilities Manager in daily operations of facility · Assist Facilities Manager in inspecting each area on a regular basis · Maintain a good rapport with all building staff · Represent self and Schluter Systems L.P. in a professional and positive manner at all times · Complete other duties as assigned Requirements Required Skills and Abilities · High school diploma or equivalent · One (1) year experience in custodial work (Housekeeping, General Cleaning, and or Janitorial Services) is preferred. · Operation of riding and walk behind floor cleaning machines preferred. · Ability or willing to learn forklift operations a plus. · Ability to stand on your feet most of your shift · Flexible in working hours to include some overtime · Good communication skills required for interaction with external vendors and contractors · Ability to lift 50 pounds throughout the workday · Ability to work with limited direction once work has been assigned · Ability to learn facility security/fire systems · Ability to follow Schluter safety procedures · Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening process Company Benefits · Paid Weekly · Guaranteed Bi-Annual Bonuses · Generous PTO · 10 Paid Holidays · Wellness Program (Earn up to an additional $600.
