Description Job Summary: Responsible for sweeping the warehouse and retail space, keeping the lunch rooms clean, stocking supplies and loading/unloading goods. Duties and Responsibilities: Ensure the warehouse and retail space is swept and clear of debris Use cleaning supplies and equipment to keep the interior of the lunch rooms, bathrooms, retail store and warehouse clean according to the required standards and schedule Break down and destroy cardboard boxes using cardboard bailers Ensure trash and shredding from paper shredder are emptied daily Adhere to office policies and procedures Move product in the warehouse as requested Maintain stock of paper supplies (cups, plates, napkins etc.) Perform other duties as assigned FULL TIME POSITION STARTING PAY- $16.00/HOUR BENEFITS OFFERED AFTER 90 DAYS Requirements Qualifications and Skills: Self-motivated and self-directed Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work with minimal supervision Ability to read, write and speak English Professional appearance and demeanor Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines Dependable and punctual Flexible, enthusiastic and positive attitude Education & Experience: High school diploma or equivalent Minimum of 1 year of custodian experience Physical Demands: The following physical demands are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of this position: Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time Must be able to traverse and access any/all areas of the warehouse Ability to work in a warehouse climate with a broad temperature range The Jay Group is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer.
