Description St. Andrew the Apostle Catholic Church is hiring for a part-time evening custodial position. The candidate hired will be responsible for the effective, efficient and safe custodial practices throughout school and/or parish. This position is part time averaging 25 hours per week. Essential Duties Performs functions that require use of machines, tools & equipment for the purpose of maintaining a clean & sanitized environment. Replenishes restroom and other necessary supplies throughout facility as needed Provide routine cleaning for the parish and school, including but not limited to dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, taking out trash, cleaning windows, toilets and sinks Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Excellent organizational and time management skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to understand and carry out instructions independently from supervisor Ability to work independently or with a team Qualifications Must be 18 years of age or older Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time Available to work afternoons, evenings and occasional Sunday afternoons High school diploma or equivalent Related experience preferred Familiarity with the Catholic understanding of ministry is an asset.
