Job Details Job Location: Duffield - Duffield, VA Salary Range: Undisclosed Description Responsible for maintaining clean and hazard-free office and production areas. Clean break room to include wiping tables, picking up trash, sweeping and mopping Clean restrooms in plant and office areas Clean office area to include sweeping, mopping and emptying trash Empty dumpster and trash cans as needed Clean/Sweep around buildings on the track Sweep around saws, tables, and production areas Operate cardboard compactor Assist in safety painting/striping when required Maintain good housekeeping practices with an emphasis on safety regulations. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred. Minimum of six (6) months’ custodial experience Ability to operate a tow motor (certification required after training) Ability to interpret instructions (both written and verbal) Ability to effectively carry out instructions with little supervision. Ability to handle problems involving variables in schedule. Must be dependable and reliable. Forklift Esperance.
Responsibilities
The custodian is responsible for maintaining clean and hazard-free office and production areas, including cleaning break rooms, restrooms, and office spaces. Additional duties include operating a cardboard compactor and assisting in safety painting and striping as required.
