Description Custodian Join our team as a Custodian and play a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment across our facility. We are seeking a dedicated individual who takes pride in their work and ensures that our warehouse, offices, hallways, restrooms, break rooms, conference rooms, and windows are consistently clean and well-maintained. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to a positive workplace atmosphere through diligent cleaning and supply management. Key Responsibilities: - Clean and maintain the cleanliness of the warehouse. - Operate and maintain cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaner, brooms, mops and floor equipment. - Monitor and replenish supply levels of janitorial items, ensuring availability of necessary cleaning supplies. -Dust furniture and equipment. -Empty trash and waste baskets in all areas. - Distribute supplies efficiently across different areas of the building as needed. - Follow safety procedures and use cleaning chemicals and equipment responsibly. - Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly. - Maintain a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness throughout the facility. -Any additional building cleaning or duties that may arise. Skills and Qualifications: - Prior experience in custodial or janitorial work preferred. - Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, supplies, and equipment. - Ability to operate cleaning machinery such as vacuum cleaners. - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. - Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. - Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude. - Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks, including lifting and standing for extended periods. $13/hr We foster a positive work environment that values teamwork, reliability, and attention to detail.
