CUSTODY DELIVERY MANAGER

Salary: £44,222
Location: West Midlands
Contract: Full Time Permanent
Are you an innovative leader with a passion for delivering impactful public services? Are you confident in building strong stakeholder relationships and driving performance excellence in a dynamic, high-stakes environment? If so, we want to hear from you.
At Ingeus, we are committed to transforming lives through exceptional service delivery and continuous improvement. We are currently seeking a Custody Delivery Manager for our Justice team to take the lead on operational excellence across our West Midlands custody teams, ensuring the highest standards of performance, quality, and stakeholder engagement are achieved through the application of the values and vision of Ingeus.

EXPERIENCE WORKING IN JUSTICE OR A SIMILAR PUBLIC SERVICE SECTOR IS HIGHLY DESIRABLE.

Whilst we welcome those with lived experience, this role requires an enhanced DBS check and Enhanced L1 Security vetting by HMPPS. As we wait for background checks to be completed, you’ll have opportunities to shadow your colleagues, ask questions, and learn the ropes.

Responsibilities
  • Driving exceptional performance: through data-led insights and performance management strategies to exceed contract KPIs.
  • Leading, inspiring, and developing: front-line delivery teams within custodial environments to achieve and sustain high performance.
  • Building and maintaining strategic relationships with key stakeholders: including HMPPS, partners, community organisations, and internal delivery teams—to ensure seamless service integration and enhanced outcomes for participants.
  • Innovation: Embedding a culture of continuous improvement by championing new ideas, adapting to change, and enhancing delivery models.
  • Collaboration: Working closely with prison teams to arrange employer events, job fairs, and promote training programmes that support participants’ rehabilitation and future employment prospects.
  • Compliance: Ensuring full compliance with contract and policy requirements, including quality assurance, financial controls, safeguarding, health & safety, and information security.
