Description Location: Jackson, MI Schedule: Full-Time | Monday – Thursday, 6:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. About the Role Orbitform is seeking a Custom Machine Build Electrician to join our team. In this role, you’ll take the lead on electrical assembly for both standard and custom-designed machines. This includes wiring, panel builds, start-up/debug, and supporting customer run-offs. You’ll work closely with senior builders, engineering, and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality machines that exceed customer expectations. Requirements What You’ll Do Perform electrical assembly of machines, including wiring and panel builds Assist with machine start-up, debug, and customer run-offs as needed Collaborate with senior builders on custom machine electrical assembly Provide technical feedback to Engineering and Machine Build peers for improvements and defect prevention Ensure machines meet quality and customer satisfaction standards during and after the warranty period Participate in cross-functional problem-solving and development teams Assist with mechanical assembly, hydraulic/pneumatic plumbing, and wiring when needed What We’re Looking For 2–4 years of machine wiring or servicing experience Basic skills in machine wiring and panel builds Ability to read and interpret mechanical assembly and controls drawings Knowledge of mechanical and electrical machine operations, with basic troubleshooting skills Familiarity with Word, Excel, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and Project Team-oriented mindset with strong attention to detail Work Environment & Physical Requirements Exposure to moving mechanical parts, vibration, fumes, and airborne particles Seasonal plant conditions (hot summers, cold winters) Ability to lift/move up to 75 pounds Frequent standing, bending, reaching, climbing, and use of hands/arms Benefits & Perks We take care of our employees with a comprehensive benefits package, including: Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance Life Insurance Short-Term Disability (STD) & Long-Term Disability (LTD) 10 Paid Holidays + Paid Time Off (PTO) Health Savings Account (HSA) Aflac supplemental options Why Join Orbitform?
