JOB OVERVIEW

Custom Shop Worker (Custom Cabinet Maker)
Responsible for building and assembling one-off, specialty, or highly detailed cabinetry and wood components that fall outside of standard production. Such as:
- Custom Hoods: Various styles, curved, box style, tapered with trims
- Wine Cabinets
- Lamello-ing & Glue Ups
- Crown Molding cutting & Assembly
- Soffit Fabrication
- Light Rail Fabrications

Key Duties:

  • Interpret custom blueprints, drawings, or client specifications.
  • Measure, cut, and assemble unique cabinet components.
  • Operate woodworking equipment (saws, routers, planers, joiners, sanders).
  • Perform hand-crafting tasks such as shaping, detailing, or modifying standard parts.
  • Collaborate with designers, engineers, and sales staff to ensure custom orders meet client expectations.
  • Apply veneers, trims, and finishing details as required.
  • Ensure quality and precision on every custom piece.
  • Maintain safe working practices and proper use of specialized tools.
  • CNC Operator - Running programs, cabinet parts, MDF doors

Skills/Qualifications:

  • Strong woodworking and cabinetmaking skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving for non-standard builds.
  • Experience with both power tools and hand tools.
  • Team Player
  • Ability to work under pressure/deadlines

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00-$28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
