Our client, based in Stevenage, Hertfordshire is expanding and are looking for an outgoing, sociable person to join the customer services team.
Job Description:
You will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, enquiries, processing orders, building relationships over the phone and ensuring that the customers receive a seamless and unforgettable experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to customer queries and resolve by providing timely and accurate information.
  • Process customer orders, ensuring all details are accurately recorded across the business.
  • Coordinate with the production, warehouse, and logistics teams to ensure orders are fulfilled and delivered on time.
  • Communicate effectively with a wide range of customers.
  • Maintain customer records.
  • Assist with the preparation of quotes and proposals.
  • Provide administrative support to the sales and customer service teams as needed.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a customer service role, within a manufacturing or packaging environment, but not essential.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure when required.
  • A positive attitude and a team-oriented approach.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £28,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
