Position: Customer Account Manager
Location: Peterborough (PE26XE)
Grade: RCS. M
Shift Pattern: Monday-Friday. Day time hours
Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)
DHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business is seeking a motivated junior Customer Account Manager to enhance our client relationships and drive business growth within DHL’s Finished Vehicle Solutions sector.

Responsibilities

As part of your normal duties, whilst maintaining excellent health and safety practices, you will:

  • Act as the main point of escalation dealing with service issues and problem solving, communicating at all times with the different brands within the Account Managers remit
  • Responsible for training and developing a team of customer executives and administrators
  • Work with key stakeholders such as operations to ensure the high levels of customer service are delivered throughout the booking process
  • Account reviews with the brands on a monthly and quarterly basis identifying service level improvements
  • Oversee all processes required to deliver the service and ensure processes and WI are maintained
  • Co-ordinate operational meetings to discuss departmental priorities and work together to deliver objectives
  • Track month-by-month budget expenditure (PO’s and invoices) in area of responsibility
  • Monitor performance of people, equipment and processes and highlight to management areas for improvement
