WHAT IS THE MAIN PURPOSE?
The Customer Advisor provides the “public face” of the company on the telephone, via email and by formal written communication. Working as part of a team, you are aiming to provide a consistently efficient, friendly and reliable service to our all our customers (UK and US) and thus contribute to maintaining our excellent customer service record.
WHAT ARE THE MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES?
Call Handling – taking calls from customers (both mail order and wholesale) which may be enquiries, orders or returns. You are to deal efficiently, sympathetically and professionally with any type of query or problem from a customer, including recognising and responding to the needs of customers who need extra attention (if they are confused or hard of hearing, for example).
Order, Enquiry & Returns Processing – processing orders, returns and catalogue requests through our Elucid system efficiently and accurately. Returns involve processing refunds or exchanges and arranging home collections (Royal Mail/Parcel force) as required.
Email Handling – Respond to email enquiries from customers in a timely manner and using a professional tone with appropriate grammar and spelling.
General Administration – Assisting in the maintenance of the mailing list by processing returned mail, adding customer notes to the Elucid system and any filing or reporting tasks as requested by the supervisors.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
You will be trained and expected to work in the Fulfilment department and Cosyfeet Shop if needed. Most of our staff across the business are trained to cover other areas of the business if the company requires it. This supporting our company values below.
Hours of work: Monday to Friday 12.00pm to 5.30pm (27½ hours per week).
