Job Summary:  The Customer and Market Engagement Intern supports efforts to engage GI Fellows, Residents, and early-career clinicians in product innovation, research, and thought leadership. The role partners closely with the Customer Engagement team to capture clinician insights, support product feedback loops, and build a scalable conference abstract and research funnel that elevates clinician voices while advancing healthcare technology innovation. Key Responsibilities: Fellows & Residents Engagement * Support outreach and relationship building with GI Fellows and Residents to engage them in innovation discussions and research initiatives * Develop and maintain a structured database of Fellows and Residents engaged in product feedback and research efforts * Assist in organizing virtual feedback sessions, surveys, and informal innovation discussions with trainees * Capture and synthesize qualitative insights to share with Product, UX, and Marketing teams Conference Abstract & Research Funnel Development * Research key GI, anesthesia, and healthcare IT conferences relevant to clinical innovation and workflow optimization  * Identify and track abstract submission deadlines, requirements, and thematic priorities  * Help build and maintain a conference abstract tracker, including deadlines, target audiences, and submission status  * Support coordination of clinician authored abstracts, posters, and presentations in collaboration with internal teams and external partners  * Assist with early stage abstract ideation, outline development, and alignment to available data or case studies  Market & Competitive Research * Conduct market research on trends in GI education, fellowship training, AI adoption, and clinical documentation innovation * Monitor competitor approaches to engaging Fellows and Residents in research and innovation * Summarize research findings into concise insights to inform engagement and thought leadership strategies Customer Appreciation & Account Value Recognition * Support the development of a customer appreciation framework grounded in account longevity, product adoption, and sustained use of Provation solutions  * Help define appreciation moments that recognize long standing customer relationships, milestone anniversaries, and years of continued partnership  * Assist in identifying and tracking account level usage indicators (e.g., years live, breadth of modules used, procedure volume, expansion over time) to inform when and how appreciation should occur  * Support recognition of accounts that demonstrate deep and consistent product utilization, operational reliance, and long-term commitment—not just episodic engagement  * Help align appreciation efforts to key lifecycle moments such as go live anniversaries, major upgrades, migrations, renewals, or meaningful expansion of product usage  Required Qualifications: Education & Experience * Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare, Public Health, Marketing, Business, Biomedical Sciences, or related field. Graduating December 2026 or later.  * Strong interest in healthcare innovation, clinical research, medical education, or healthcare technology * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple workstreams * Comfortable conducting research, synthesizing insights, and presenting findings clearly * Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word); experience with CRM or research tools is a plus Fortive Corporation Overview Fortive’s essential technology makes the world stronger, safer, and smarter.
