Your role: In your role as Customer Application Consultant for Emerging Biotech, you build trusted relationships with start-ups and scale-ups across Europe, with a clear focus on Germany and Austria, to drive adoption and commercial growth. You identify and prioritize accounts, run targeted outreach campaigns, and manage a clear B2B sales pipeline from lead to close, with a strong account management and customer success mindset. You meet customers on-site and virtually, present solutions and use cases, guide evaluations, and coordinate with internal teams to deliver value. You represent the company at industry events, capture market insights, share feedback to improve offerings, and ensure consistent activity tracking in CRM. Regular field travel in the region (approximately to 50%) is expected.

Who you are:

  • Minimum bachelor’s degree in biotechnology, Life Sciences, Biology, Biochemistry or a related field; or equivalent experience in the biotech/life science industry.
  • Proven experience in biotech or life science sales, account management, or customer success (B2B).
  • Track record of meeting or exceeding commercial targets in field-based roles.
  • Skilled in consultative selling, opportunity qualification, and pipeline management in a CRM.
  • Strong communicator in German and English (at least C1); confident engaging stakeholders up to C‑level.
  • Proactive networker who enjoys events, outreach, and building long-term relationships.
  • Self-starter with solid territory planning and prospecting skills; effective collaborator across sales and marketing.
  • Willing to travel regularly across Germany and Austria with a valid driver’s licence for EU
  • Nice to have: familiarity with the local biotech ecosystem and partner organizations.
