Responsibilities

JOB PURPOSE

This role is to deal with day-to-day duties within the Cellar Door of Hambledon Wine Estate. This is not limited to but includes, general housekeeping, organisation of files and admin, answering general enquires, shipping of online orders. This role includes answering the phones, overseeing the booking system.

1. DAILY DUTIES

  • Ensure the phones are answered in a quick and efficient manner with the guest need being dealt with as quickly as possible
  • To answer all enquires as soon as possible to ensure we can maximise revenue and keep all bookings up to date.
  • Oversee the booking system on a day-to-day basis
  • Handle guest enquiries when visiting
  • Ensuring Cellar Door is well stocked
  • Customer Service in Cellar Door
  • Provide product information and recommendations

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. To carry out any reasonable instruction as directed by a manager
  2. To deal with all internal and external customers in a professional and courteous manner at all times.
  3. Maintain high levels of housekeeping in your department
  4. From time to time you may be required to carry out duties outside the normal sphere of work as may be reasonable requested by Management.
  5. Understanding of Hambledon values.
  6. Participate in the organisation and service of internal and external events
