JOB DESCRIPTION

The successful candidate will be responsible for serving customers with products in a friendly and efficient manner. You will also be responsible for monitoring the yard and surrounding areas. Other duties will include moving stock and loading and unloading vehicles.

EXPERIENCE, SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous experience in hardware related environment and forklift experience is an advantage but not essential as training will be provided

• To deal with customers in a friendly, efficient manner
• Forklift driving
• To carry out inspection of goods received - checking for damage to, quantity of and quality of items received
• To accurately pick stock items in accordance with the outgoing paperwork ensuring conformance to the customer’s requirements
• To carry out any other duties as requested by management from time to time
