As a Customer Care Consultant, you will embrace Blackwoods’ values and engage with customers through emails and phone calls, ensuring each interaction is handled efficiently and within guidelines. You will also manage administrative tasks related to customer service.

Responsibilities
  • Handle all sales/service inquiries via inbound calls and emails, striving for first-contact resolution and total customer satisfaction
  • Identify and assess customer requirements, select appropriate product/service mix, and discuss solutions with customers, including price, stock availability, and delivery time
  • Maintain availability for inbound calls/emails, manage leave and absences, and respond to high call volumes by accepting overflow calls
  • Follow up on outstanding calls to ensure customer satisfaction and action backorders to meet delivery expectations
  • Ensure customer complaints and queries are resolved, process credits, release EDI exceptions, and comply with legal and ethical standards while seeking process improvements
