Position Overview
This position will focus on retail customers, responsible for taking and entering orders and addressing customer inquiries and quality issues or concerns, liaising with production, outside sales, purchasing & shipping regarding customer requirements. Processing invoices, labels, delivery logs, and credit memos. This role will focus on customer service and a constant desire to help solve our customers’ issues.
Position: Full Time, Permanent
Schedule: Monday to Friday, and Holidays as required. 8:00am to 4:30pm.
Salary: Between $43,000-45,000 per year, dependent on experience.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Main point of contact for Jade customers
  • Help processing GFS orders and DSD customers as needed
  • Answering the telephone, emails, and handling customer calls accordingly
  • Processing orders & liaising with internal departments
  • Administration duties - emailing weekly price lists, running reports, communicating product shorts, arranging outside carriers
  • Create delivery logs & assist with customer delivery routing
  • Orchestrate complaint resolution and assist the sales staff
  • Perform various administration duties required to support the customer care team, including statutory holiday coverage, and Sunday help as needed

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Must have excellent customer service skills.
  • Strong listening skills - understand and reflect accurately on the message
  • Computer literacy, including the application of Google Docs & Sheets, MS Excel, and MS Word. etc.
  • Very good organizational and multitasking combined with initiative and flexibility.
  • Effective communication in an open and direct manner; conveys information clearly and concisely, with strong written and verbal communication skills. Strong phone etiquette is required.
  • Bilingual would be considered an asset
