A Day in the Life of a Customer Care Specialist: As a Customer Care Specialist at Lookout Pest Control, you’ll be the key to ensuring that we live up to our vision and mission of being the easiest to do business with and putting our customers always! You will support our customers by answering inbound calls to address questions and needs. Your keen customer service skills and customer relations management system (CRM) expertise will ensure that our customers have the best experience.  You’ll take pride in having a rapport with our customers. Your attention to detail and teamwork will be instrumental in ensuring that we have happy customers, a successful field and sales team, and an effective Branch.  Essential Functions: * Abide by company safety policies and regulatory requirements, including the proper recordkeeping of product use, sales, and services * Answer high-volume inbound calls  * Confer with customers to provide information about their services, schedule services, cancel accounts, and resolve complaints. * Identify and direct leads for upselling services * Keep records of customer interactions or transactions, recording details of inquiries, complaints, or comments, as well as actions taken in our CRM (PestPac) * Engage with the field team and operations to resolve customer concerns * Make outbound collection calls as directed * Attend required training and meetings as prescribed * Perform other duties as required Requirements * Must be available to work a full shift, with schedules that may flex by up to one hour to support call center coverage from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Eastern Time. * Must be computer literate * Must be able to speak and read fluent English * Experience in a high-volume call center preferred * Must be able to type a minimum of 40 words per minute Work Conditions * Indoor office environment * Continuous interactions with computers * High volume inbound calls on the phone Competencies * Excellent customer service and communication skills * Detail oriented * Teamwork * Problem solving We are an equal-opportunity employer and make hiring decisions based on merit, qualifications, and business needs.
