Description The Customer Relationship Representative is responsible for providing excellent customer service and satisfaction to customers resulting in a positive customer experience, long term solutions, and brand loyalty, and representing Vortex Industries LLC with the highest degree of professionalism and courtesy in all interactions with customers. Proactively delivers superior customer service in response to customer calls, correspondence, and e-mails. Ensures customer’s needs are understood and schedules the appropriate service. Partners with local service centers as a liaison to large customer jobs. Manages large account customers who have orders, need for estimates, or require information about products/services. Ensures confidentiality and security of sensitive data. Ensure constant communication with team members. Ensures accurate data entry into the customer cards and databases. Ensure timely completion of work through critical thinking skills, prioritization, and multitasking. Requirements Required Skills & Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Detail oriented, positive friendly customer service are key attributes. Computer knowledge and skills, i.e., MS Office Suite – Word, Power Point and Excel is required. Experience with MRP systems is beneficial. Collaborative with a continuous improvement outlook. Ability to build and maintain strong effective business relationships in a team-based environment. Ability to multi-task efficiently and adapt within a rapidly changing environment. Flexible with high energy, able to handle multiple tasks smoothly. Highly organized, detail-oriented, with attention to accuracy. Required Experience/Education/Training/Certifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must possess the outlined experience level, education, training, minimum years of experience, product, or industry knowledge plus any certifications to be considered. High school diploma or General Education Degree required (GED). One (1) – Three (3) years of customer service experience, or administrative background preferred. B2C and experience with customer facing roles in retail, restaurant, hospitality is a plus. Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision to meet deadlines. Work Environment and Safety Equipment Required: The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of the job. Work is performed in an office environment and requires the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards. Must have the ability to walk short distances. Noise level is moderate in an office environment. This position is located in Irvine and not a remote position.
