Description

Customer Care Stores Operatives must ensure Stately-Albion’s Customer Care Technicians parts and equipment are prepared on time to ensure the company meets its service targets. This is a physically demanding role.

SKILL SETS:

Ability and willingness to learn.

  • Good communication skills.
  • Understanding of a wide range of construction materials and products.
  • Ability to handle fragile materials with care.
  • Ability physically to move heavy materials around the factory

COMPUTER SKILLS:

  • Competent with Microsoft Windows & Office package.
  • Experience with Sage line 200 desirable but not required. Training will be provided.
  • Driving Licence required
  • Forklift license and/or experience desired but not required. Training will be provided.
Responsibilities

DUTIES:

  • Unloading of deliveries either manually or with a Forklift. Ensuring the correct item(s) have been delivered and in a good condition.
  • Assembling kits of different materials for the Customer Care Technicians.
  • Regular monitoring and maintaining of stock levels.

ADMINISTRATIVE DUTIES:

  • Booking in/out materials.
  • Placing stock orders.
  • Liaising with suppliers and other departments within Stately-Albion.
  • Quarterly stock checks – must be available on the 4 set days a year.
