We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Customer Delivery Assistant to assist our delivery team in providing exceptional service. The Customer Delivery Assistant will work closely with the driver to ensure that goods are loaded, transported, and delivered efficiently and safely. This role requires physical stamina for heavy lifting and the ability to communicate effectively with both the driver and customers.

REQUIREMENTS

• Experience in heavy lifting is essential for handling various types of goods.
• Previous experience as a delivery driver or van driver is advantageous but not mandatory.
• A valid driving licence is preferred for assisting with driving duties when required.
• Familiarity with warehouse operations will be beneficial.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and customers.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings or late evenings as needed.

• Assist the driver in loading and unloading goods from the vehicle.
• Ensure that all items are securely packed and organised for transport.
• Help navigate routes and provide directions as needed during deliveries.

• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the vehicle.
• Adhere to all safety regulations while on the road and during loading/unloading processes.
• Support warehouse operations as required, including inventory checks and stock management.
