As a Customer Delivery Driver (7.5T), you’ll play a key role in ensuring every customer receives an exceptional delivery experience with a smile, while upholding our standards of care and professionalism on the road and in the home. About the Role:7.5 Tonne Customer Delivery Driver Working as part of our home delivery team, you will safely transport and deliver a wide range of beds, mattresses, bedroom furniture, and accessories directly to customers across your region. Going that extra mile for each customer, you’ll also assemble products where required, making sure everything is set up for a perfect night’s sleep. This is a physically demanding role, including lifting and assembling heavy products such as mattresses and bed frames. You’ll be supported by a co-driver on route and receive comprehensive training to help you deliver safely and efficiently, while providing best-in-class service. Key Responsibilities – Customer Delivery & Service Excellence Ensure safe, compliant, and timely delivery of items to customers’ homes using a7.5 tonne vehicle, following agreed delivery routes and schedules. Complete delivery documentation and customer handover processes with care and accuracy. Work collaboratively and responsibly with your delivery partner at all times. Deliver, assemble, and position products in customers’ chosen rooms as requested. Use excellent communication skills to manage any customer queries during delivery or assembly. Carry out vehicle checks and report any issues promptly to maintain a safe working environment. Maintain exceptional standards of cleanliness and presentation—both for your uniform and vehicle. What We’re Looking For – Skills & Experience Valid Category C1 (7.5 tonne) driving licence with no more than6 penalty points. Valid Driver CPC qualification and digital tachograph card. Proven experience in a customer-facing or delivery driver role. Comfortable with heavy lifting and manual handling responsibilities. Approachable, helpful, and flexible attitude with outstanding teamwork and communication skills. Ability to problem-solve, remain calm, and adapt to ensure customers always come first. Commitment to safe working practices and compliance with all road safety and vehicle legislation.
