IN A NUTSHELL, YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES ARE:

• Short distance driving and basic vehicle safety checks, including re-fueling.
• Safely load and unload trucks and aircraft with catering, equipment, carts and ovens, ensuring any discrepancies are followed up on.
• Guide and position the trucks safely in line with Company, Airport, and Airline policies.
• As the face of our business, you will communicate and coordinate with Airline cabin crew for aircraft servicing and delivery hand over.
• Follow instructions as given to you by your Trainer, Shift Supervisor or Dept Head.
• Administrative documentation, shift reports and general cleaning duties as required.

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN SECURING THIS ROLE?

• Must hold a clean valid MR or HR Driver’s License (min 1 year of driving)
• Be relatively fit and active. Ability to perform frequent manual handling tasks.
• Flexibility working around flight schedules is essential.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• 20/20 vision and sound hearing is vital for this role as you will be on the tarmac.
• Neat and tidy presentation, well spoken.
• As you will be working in the Aviation sector, a cleared National Police Check is required (at our cost).
