An exciting opportunity is now available to join our team as a Customer Engagement Officer. What Ability is an NDIS registered disability service provider operating across four states in Australia. We put FUN in disability support with a team of over 500 support workers Nationally, and utilise professional and semi-professional athletes as our support workers.
This role is a full-time and permanent role based at our office in Perth. There will also be opportunities to join our team on game days with our community partners. The successful candidate will be joining a very passionate team, dedicated to helping people.

Responsibilities

We are on the hunt for a full-time Customer Engagement Officer in Perth. Reporting into the WA State Manager, your role responsibilities will include:

  • Leading, managing, and supporting a team of Participants, Team Leads, and Support Workers to ensure high-quality service delivery.
  • Rostering and booking of Participants and Support Workers.
  • Ensuring all support plans are current and staff training and education is undertaken.
  • Participating in staff recruitment, performance reviews and development processes.
  • Scheduling and undertaking 1:1s with Team Leads, and providing mentorship, support and leadership to the Team Leads.
  • Ensuring all Participant Schedules are up-to-date (e.g., documentation of correspondence with participants and families)
  • Ensuring Team Leads and Casual Support Workers read, understand and provide support in line with required documentation, have completed all required documentation and communicate in an effective and timely manner with participants and families.
