This is a relationship-driven role where you’ll manage leads, develop opportunities, and guide customers through the adoption of virtual fencing, while feeding practical insights back to the product and tech teams. Occasional attendance at field days and events will help you understand real-world challenges, but your day-to-day impact will be delivered remotely. You’ll: Build and manage a strong sales pipeline across Victoria Identify, qualify, and engage new customer opportunities Close sales and support engaged, excited customers Connect with farmers via calls, video demos, and online events Deliver compelling product demonstrations that show practical value Collaborate with Business Development Managers on regional sales strategy Maintain accurate CRM records and provide regular reporting Partner with product, tech, and customer teams to ensure feedback informs development What You’ll Bring You bring credibility in agriculture and a commercial mindset, with the ability to build trust and deliver value to farmers primarily through remote engagement. You understand how to translate technology into practical outcomes, manage opportunities from your desk, and drive results across a dispersed customer base. Our successful candidate has: A background in agriculture, AgTech, or rural-focused sales Experience in solution-led or relationship-based selling Strong interest or knowledge in beef cattle grazing systems Confidence building trusted, long-term customer relationships remotely Commercial mindset with a focus on achieving results Clear, practical communication skills Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, remote environment Experience using CRM systems and digital sales tools Experience in a start-up environment preferred A passion for delivering exceptional customer experience Nice to have: A relevant degree is beneficial but not essential - practical experience, credibility, and mindset matter most.
