A fast-paced frontline role, where you will be assisting Inland Revenue in providing the best possible service experience for our diverse range of customers, addressing queries and supporting customers predominately via our web correspondence contact channels in our Individuals segment. Our Customer Enquiries Assistant roles are busy and each day you will play a critical role in assisting in delivering timely, accurate and professional service to predominantly individual customers and their tax agents. Previous customer service is beneficial for this role. This role also works remotely, so you must have a high level of digital literacy as all the training will be delivered virtually. This is a part time position where you must be available to work a minimum of 20 hours per week, to a maximum of 35 hours per week. Your usual hours may be negotiated between 7.30am and 8.30pm. Monday to Friday. For the training period you must be able work 30 hours a week for an initial period of approximately eight weeks, from 8.30am – 3pm. As you’ll work remotely, you must meet the following Internet requirements to ensure you can comfortably work from home with our technology. You will need Fibre based Broadband Internet at home Use home WIFI in 5GHz or 2GHz The salary for this position is $60,385 per annum, and the start dates for the role will be from 17 March 2026.
