Responsibilities:
We have an exciting opportunity for a Customer Service Associate to join our growing team! You will be responsible for providing excellent and timely customer service and support to our jewelry insurance clients. You will need to obtain a Property & Casualty license within 4 months of employment. The company will pay for your time and fees associated with obtaining the license.
We are open to candidates with prior customer service experience (any industry is fine) or recent college grads looking for an opportunity to start a career in the insurance industry!

What you’ll do:

  • Answer customer phone calls and return messages from our policyholders and prospective customers (will train)
  • Respond to customer emails and requests for information
  • Process endorsements and change requests for clients
  • Interact with vendors and partners who work with Lavalier (jewelry insurance)
  • Assist with processing policies and obtaining policyholder information
  • Complete data entry and/or upload of large schedules and other data
  • Projects and other work as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • Prior customer service experience (any industry); or recent college grad
  • Ability to obtain a Property & Casualty license within 4 months of employment (we will pay for your time and fees associated with obtaining the license)
  • Incredible empathy and understanding of the needs of our customers, you will be an excellent, pro-active advocate for Lavalier customers (jewelry insurance) and are passionate about their service experience
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills, your communication style is flexible to the situation, you communicate clearly and with a purpose
  • Calm under pressure, you have excellent organizational skills, integrity, and great follow-through on tasks
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues at all levels of the organization
  • You have a strong sense of accountability; and a natural curiosity
  • You love learning how things work and you are always looking for innovative improvements
  • A passion to provide outstanding account support, you love to pull out all the stops to support your team in order to provide exceptional customer service

  • This position is non-exempt/hourly
