Department Overview This department is responsible for B2B marketing at Rakuten Mobile. In addition to mobile connectivity services, we strategically plan and execute the promotion of Rakuten Mobile’s proprietary products on a daily basis. Guided by one of Rakuten’s core principles, “Maximization of Customer Satisfaction,” we consistently approach our work from the customer’s perspective, striving to deliver value-driven marketing initiatives that meet real business needs. This organization is responsible for the production and continuous improvement that support a wide range of initiatives, including the corporate website, digital marketing, owned media, and events. One of the key attractions of this role is the opportunity to be involved throughout the entire process—from planning and execution to optimization—while gaining a holistic view of the overall marketing function. Position: Why We Hire We are recruiting to fill an open position. Position Details Key Responsibilities ・Plan and direct the production process for web and print deliverables, including materials for events ・Define objectives and requirements, and coordinate with relevant stakeholders across marketing, sales, and production teams to build alignment ・Establish production workflows and role assignments, and manage progress using frameworks such as RACI and SOW ・Manage the quality of deliverables, propose improvements, and identify issues during the operational phase ・Prioritize multiple projects, allocate resources effectively, and optimize overall project execution Work Environment Approximately 35 members (15 in Marketing and 20 in Production) Mandatory Qualifications: ・Experience level: 5–7+ years of hands-on experience as a Web Director ・Industry background: Experience in one of the following: a web production company, an in-house web team at a business company, or an advertising agency Desired Qualifications: ・Hands-on experience with HTML/CSS, JavaScript, and CMS ・Professional writing experience ・Experience directing print media and event-related deliverables ・Experience using AI tools in a professional work environment Others Information: Additional information on Location Futakotamagawa RISE Office, 2-21-1 Tamagawa, Setagaya-ku, Tokyo 1-minute walk from Futako-Tamagawa Station (Tokyu Den-en-toshi Line / Oimachi Line) Additional information on English Qualification English proficiency equivalent to TOEIC 800 or above, or a strong willingness to actively work toward achieving this level Languages: English (Overall - 3 - Advanced), Japanese (Overall - 3 - Advanced) In Japanese, Rakuten stands for ‘optimism.’ It means we believe in the future.
