Major Client Group (MCG) is a key segment within CBA’s Business Banking division, supporting over 2,000 large businesses with complex banking needs. The MCG Chief Operating Office (COO) team enables our frontline teams to deliver exceptional client outcomes by coordinating strategic initiatives, communications, and operational support.

Responsibilities
  • Support the MCG COO team with operational tasks such as internal communications, calendar coordination, and tracking of key projects and deliverables.
  • Assist with logistics for major client-facing events including the Australian Open, Formula 1, and Melbourne Cup. This includes managing RSVPs, coordinating guest communications, liaising with venues and suppliers, and supporting on-site execution. Flexibility to travel may be required.
  • Maintain high standards of accuracy and attention to detail across administrative activities including documentation, reporting, and compliance.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure seamless coverage and continuity across projects and events.
  • Contribute to post-event reviews by gathering feedback, analysing outcomes, and identifying opportunities for improvement.Provide general support across national offsites and internal initiatives, stepping in to assist with ad hoc requests and operational gaps as needed.
