POSITION SUMMARY

Reporting to the Customer Experience Manager, the Customer Experience Representative is responsible for providing direct support to prospective customers who seek information on Company products and services via phone, chat or internet. The Customer Experience Representative supports branch sales personnel by gathering information and prequalifying potential sales leads.

KNOW HOW & EXPERIENCE

  • At least 1 year of related experience with material handling equipment is preferred.
  • Must be proficient with computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required.
  • Relationship building and time management skills.
  • Self-motivation with strong problem-solving capabilities.
  • Strong sense of urgency with the ability to multi-task.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Fluency in English (advanced level) is required 50% of the time to communicate with the customers in other provinces in Canada, with whom communication is conducted exclusively in English.

Responsibilities
  • Prequalify customer inquiry and assign information to appropriate salesperson or department.
  • Make outbound telephone calls and generate sales leads.
  • Log, track, and communicate details of communication with customers.
  • Follow up with leads and record sales results.
  • Provide information by telephone, email, chat, or mail.
  • Participate in both branch and corporate training activities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
