Mō te tūranga | About the Role We are seeking a skilled and motivated CIAM (Customer Identity and Access Management) Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Identity and Access Management (IAM), with the ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies. Ko tō mahi | What you’ll do Implement, monitor, and maintain CIAM solutions. Handle and resolve production incidents with urgency and ownership. Participate in a 24x7 on-call support rotation to ensure high availability of identity services. Collaborate with development and operations teams to integrate identity SDKs into customer-facing applications. Manage release and deployment activities. Work effectively in an Agile environment (Scrum, Kanban). Nā tāu rourou | What will you bring? Deep understanding of identity protocols, including OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect (OIDC), FIDO, WebAuthn, SAML 2.0, and token exchange. Solid incident management and troubleshooting skills. Experience with Directory Services (LDAP). Familiarity with DevOps and Configuration Management tools: Git, Jenkins, CloudBees. Some knowledge of Java, JavaScript, Groovy, or scripting languages. Good understanding of Linux. Nice to Have Experience with Ping Identity or ForgeRock platforms. Exposure to PingSDK and its integration patterns. Hands-on experience with OpenShift and Kubernetes environments. Certifications in Ping Identity or ForgeRock technologies. Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines. Knowledge of monitoring and security tools such as Dynatrace, Splunk, or any SIEM solution.
