EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • 0-3 years post-undergraduate experience.
  • Intense curiosity about Grainger’s customers and business – the MRO market must be a genuine source of interest for a candidate to thrive in the role.
  • Advanced computer skills with proficiency using the Microsoft Office suite.
  • Desire to develop additional technical and quantitative skills.
  • Clear written and visual communication.
  • Thorough, thoughtful online research.

Responsibilities
  • Actively curate and supplement customer information for all of Grainger, primarily through online research, with an
  • emphasis on identifying qualified prospects and accurately segmenting Grainger’s current customers.
  • Contribute to development and continuous improvement of standard research processes.
  • Execute processes that create customer information, e.g., conducting online research on customers to confirm which
  • industry a location is in.
  • Contribute to analysis – helping Grainger get to know our customers and how we can fulfill their MRO needs
  • Present and share work with peers.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the US MRO market – what customers exist in which industries, and how attractive are they to Grainger?
