REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience with an iPaaS tool such as Workato, n8n, Tray.io, Zapier, or Make/Integromat.
  • Familiarity with REST APIs, JSON, and XML.
  • Experience in data mapping and transformation.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills for interacting with technical and non-technical customer stakeholders.
  • Ability to work Eastern Time hours while based overseas.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in manufacturing, SaaS, or enterprise integrations.
  • Familiarity with ERP, MES, or CRM systems (e.g., SAP, Salesforce, NetSuite).
  • Knowledge of scripting languages (JavaScript, Python) for custom automation logic.

Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

Our client is seeking a technically skilled and customer-oriented Customer Integration Specialist to lead the implementation of integrations between our platform and our customers’ systems. This role will involve using integration platforms (e.g., Workato, n8n, Tray.io, Zapier, Make/Integromat) to configure, test, and deploy integrations, as well as directly engaging with customers to understand requirements and map data fields between systems.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Build and maintain integrations between our platform and customer systems using iPaaS tools.
  • Configure connections using REST/SOAP APIs, Webhooks, and authentication methods (OAuth 2.0, API Keys, Basic Auth, etc.).
  • Conduct technical discussions with customers to understand workflows, data structures, and integration needs.
  • Map fields between systems, ensuring data integrity, correct formats, and proper error handling.
  • Validate integrations, troubleshoot issues, and resolve data sync errors.
  • Collaborate on and support strategic partnership integrations with enterprise platforms such as SAP, AVEVA, and Ignition.
  • Create and maintain integration documentation for both internal and customer use.
