Description:
CUSTOMER LIABILITY MANAGER, LAWYER
SAS Customer Service handles millions of customer contacts annually through our centers and external partners. We are currently in the process of renewing and adapting our service to meet travelers’ future needs. To support this, we are now looking for new Liability Managers to join our team, which is spread across offices in three countries.
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:
- Law degree
- At least two years of work experience.
- Experience in consumer rights and regulations for passenger rights is meritorious.
- Experience in international law within EU markets is meritorious.
- Experience in court disputes is meritorious.
Responsibilities:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Managing disputes related to passenger rights.
- Staying updated with case law in the area of air passenger rights.
- Providing legal advice to ensure compliance with relevant regulations for air passenger rights.
- Exercising a commercially sound strategy for disputes and negotiations.
- Instructing and providing legal counsel with necessary documentation in international markets.
- Collaborating with national enforcement bodies and trade organizations.
- Participating in internal cross-functional process development.
- Assisting in case management of escalated complaints.
- Supporting and training customer service staff.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop as a lawyer through experience as a representative for SAS in disputes. You will be responsible for the entire court process, including defense statements and evidence, as well as settlement negotiations regarding compensation under the various passenger rights regulations. You will need to be prepared for some travel within and outside Scandinavia.
