Description

As our Customer Liaison Admin, you will liaise with customers regarding analysis, sample bottles, results, queries, registration, and invoicing.

You enjoy being part of a team and collaborating with your peers, but you are also trustworthy and can use your own initiative to confidently make decisions.

Responsibilities

In this valuable role, you will:

  • explain the service the laboratory can provide for customers, assessing if the services can meet their requirements, and preparing quotations
  • liaise closely with the relevant laboratory staff to ensure that the laboratory has the technical capability and appropriate resources to deal with the work
  • inform customers of the correct sampling procedures and containers. Arranging for the delivery of sample containers to the customer and the return of their samples to the laboratory.
  • pre-schedule contract samples with the correct analyses and inform the appropriate lab(s)
  • arrange for the necessary couriers for the collection and delivery of out-sourced samples
  • input results from sub-contract laboratories within the appropriate timescales
  • send customers a Certificate of Analysis when the samples are completed, and file all the necessary paperwork
  • invoice customers
  • receive and record any complaints from customers, whether written or verbal, and ensure all the corrective action is recorded and filed
  • maintain key files and records such as archive amendment requests, site number creation requests etc.
