More about the role This role sits within the National Sales Support team, supporting the Dynalite business by providing efficient order management and expediting across customer projects. You will be responsible for processing and managing customer and intercompany orders accurately and on time, while proactively expediting deliveries, resolving issues, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth order fulfilment. The role plays a critical part in delivering a high-quality customer experience across ordering, delivery, and project execution. In addition, you will: Accept and validate sales and intercompany orders by checking references and confirming all relevant information. Process orders accurately and promptly to support timely delivery outcomes. Actively expedite orders, monitoring progress, identifying risks or delays, and working with internal stakeholders to ensure on-time delivery. Manage manual order creation for complex Dynalite projects, including milestone-based delivery and billing schedules. Check product availability and prepare delivery proposals; where required, recommend alternatives, update order status, and escalate deviations. Coordinate closely with Sales, Supply Chain, and Operations to ensure smooth order fulfilment and project delivery. Support continuous improvement of order management and expediting processes, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction across ordering and delivery. Maintain a clean and accurate order book, ensuring timely closure of completed or inactive orders. Monitor order status and proactively communicate updates to customers and internal stakeholders. Respond promptly to customer enquiries and resolve order-related issues or discrepancies. Report on order receipts, deliveries, sales, and stock levels on a monthly basis. Maintain accurate customer master data within relevant systems. Experience in order management, customer service, or supply chain operations. Exposure to project-based or complex order environments (e.g. staged deliveries, engineered solutions) is advantageous. Experience in order expediting, coordination, or delivery management is highly desirable. Familiarity with continuous improvement or problem-solving methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, Agile) is preferred but not essential.
