Description
The Customer Product Specialist is responsible for receiving and responding to customer needs and requests, problem solving and/or coordinating resolutions of issues, keeping customers informed of product status, linking production, and supporting activities with customer requirements and negotiating changes. What you’ll do: Manage transactions for customer NPI process; collect and audit all needed information from customer. Initiate NPI’s and CO’s in Agile. Conduct NPI meetings to plan introduction of product. Conduct first-article debrief and convert product to production status. Receive and audit engineering change orders from customers. Coordinate business analysis to determine best timing and potential impact of CO. Coordinate effective implementation of CO’s and product phase-out process. Issue and control Return Material Authorizations (RMA’s) for warranty returns. Issue, quote, coordinate and control product projects for non-warranty. Coordinate and communicate with customer regarding customer-owned equipment. Establish and maintain master customer files. Responsible for set-up and maintenance of all part, BOM, point-of-use, and product pricing data. Cross-training in other accounting functions for role coverage and perform other duties as assigned. What you’ll need: Advanced proficiency in computer systems, including Microsoft Excel (vlookups, etc), Office, Outlook Good overall understanding of circuit board assembly manufacturing processes and systems Knowledge of Documentation Control and MRP Systems Ability to work in team environment with customer order management, buyers and production personnel. Good communication skills – both written and oral, for internal and customer communication required. Ability to make commitments and provide visibility of progress. Positive attitude, and ability to work well under deadlines in a dynamic work environment Service-orientation and ability to negotiate with customer and internally to provide excellent service.
