Our growing branch is seeking a professional and efficient customer service representative. In this role, you provide warm, courteous, face-to-face banking interactions to ATB customers. Our independently-owned location strives to get to know the families we help. This helps us elevate the customer experience by proactively identifying their needs and assisting with matching them to the right products, solutions, and experts to achieve their financial goals.
Location: 110, 960 Emerald Hills. Sherwood Park, AB.
Job Status:. Full Time - Monday to Friday 9:30am - 4:15pm
Salary: Hourly rate based on experience

Responsibilities

  • Deepening relationships with our customers by having conversations to understand their needs and how we can help them reach their goals
  • Provide a warm inviting environment for all guests in the agency.
  • Transforming the customer experience by introducing our customers to experts and educating them on our digital tools and resources
  • Maintaining and building customer relationships by providing optimal customer service
  • Developing and building internal partner relationships with all ATB departments
  • Supporting branch operations to meet customer service requirements and to assist with resolving issues or concerns
  • Following tactical service routines, best practice processes and procedures on all administrative and operational activities within the branch
  • Processing cash and clearing transactions while abiding by current policies and applicable privacy/safety regulations
  • Actively participating in team meetings
  • Providing assistance and coaching to other CSR’s, as required
  • Ensuring branch assets are properly safeguarded, premises and equipment are maintained, and collateral documents are properly controlled
  • Makes credit recommendations for personal lending & business transactions, including home financing, in accordance with sound credit granting principles and within ATBs policies and procedures.
  • Maintains current knowledge of personal banking products, practices, and trends.
  • Taking responsibility for your personal development plan, and scheduling meetings with managers to discuss development plans
  • Maintaining compliance courses with the intention to understand and implement policies

Requirements

  • Creative team player who is flexible, cooperative, and demonstrates a desire to work within a team
  • Demonstrated ability to handle changes and make decisions in a high-pressure environment
  • Typically between 2 - 3 years of relevant experience and/or post-secondary degree in a related field of study desirable or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Working knowledge of personal and small business customer needs and solutions.
  • Knowledge of retail investments and lending products
  • Proficiency in working with numbers
  • Strong cash management skills.
  • Enthusiastic self starter willing to build long term client relationships.
  • Comfortable speaking to a group and would be willing to and excited to participate in a networking group
  • Believes in providing value and investing in the community.
  • A passion to deliver a caring and excellent customer service experience
  • Proficient with Google Suite (mail, drive, calendar, etc.) and MS-Office (word, powerpoint, excel, etc.) products
  • Functional knowledge of computer systems and intermediate typing skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Preference will be given to applicants with previous banking experience
