Location: Hertford
Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary: Up to £30,000 per annum

ESSENTIAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • 3–5 years’ experience in a customer account management or sales operations role within a technical/manufacturing environment
  • Proficiency in SAP and MS Excel for data analysis
  • Strong knowledge of forecast planning, order processing, and pricing strategy development
  • Proven experience with Global Export Licensing
  • Exceptional attention to detail with confident, collaborative communication skills
  • Ability to adapt to evolving client needs in a fast-paced, process-driven environment
Responsibilities

ROLE OVERVIEW

We are seeking a proactive and analytically minded Customer Relationship Executive to manage customer portfolios, support strategic operations, and ensure seamless account administration. The successful candidate will demonstrate a sound working knowledge of global export licensing, strong negotiation skills, and exceptional commercial communication abilities.
This role requires 3–5 years of relevant experience in a technical or manufacturing environment and the ability to navigate complex commercial workflows in a fast-paced global setting.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage high-value global customer accounts, ensuring accuracy in order processing, pricing, and service delivery
  • Liaise with production and supply chain teams to support forecast planning and fulfilment schedules
  • Maintain and analyse customer data to drive decision-making and performance tracking
  • Resolve customer queries and troubleshoot account issues with professionalism and efficiency
  • Contribute to pricing strategy reviews alongside commercial and finance teams
  • Produce reports and insights using SAP and MS Office tools to optimise planning and service levels
