THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

  • Some sales experience with a consultative approach. Some of our sales can have quite a long cycle, so you may need to maintain a relationship with the customer over months.
  • Renewable energy experience beneficial but not essential.
  • Technical aptitude with the ability to understand and explain complex systems
  • Excellent communication skills - equally comfortable discussing technical specifications with engineers and creating rapport with homeowners
  • Self-motivated with strong organisation and time management skills
  • Valid driving license and access to your own vehicle
  • Ability to adapt your approach between technically-minded clients and those seeking a complete managed service
  • Passionate about renewable energy and sustainability
Responsibilities

THE ROLE

We’re seeking a knowledgeable and personable Customer Relationship Managers to join our team. You’ll be the crucial link between our technical capabilities and our customers’ needs, guiding homeowners and businesses through to upgrading their heating and energy to solar and heat pumps, explaining the technologies and showing them the products in action at our showroom.
This is a position based from our Croydon office during probation and then working hybrid after that.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Respond to inbound leads, understanding their requirements and timeline
  • Create tailored proposals and estimates using our quote system
  • Present technical information in an accessible way to different customer types. Some of our customers are very technical and enjoy talking about kWh. Others just want to know that the heat pump will keep them warm in the winter!
  • Build and maintain relationships with high-value customers. Many of our customers are high net worth individuals with prime and super prime property, so experience talking with and selling to this audience is a bonus.
  • Manage your own diary and be very organised & methodical
  • Meet or exceed sales targets while maintaining our reputation for quality and integrity. Our business is built on our reputation.
  • Collaborate with our design and installation teams to ensure smooth project handovers
