Opal is a major supplier of high-volume custom printed folding cartons to brands across Australia and New Zealand, collaborating with our customers to develop unique, innovative folding carton packaging. We have an exciting opportunity to join one of the largest packaging companies in Australia, at our site in Banksmeadow (NSW) as we are currently looking for a Customer Replenishment Planner to join us on a 12-month fixed-term contract!
The Customer Replenishment Planner role is accountable for the servicing of customer supply requirements. This will encompass all aspects of forecasting, ordering, pricing, communication with dispatch regarding delivery and transport optimisation, SKU lifecycle management, aged inventory management and general customer enquiries.

The key focus of this role will be to:

  • Respond to all customer enquiries regarding order delivery dates (ensuring DIFOT), in a timely and in a professional manner
  • Management of weekly forecast and replenishment strategies through promotional and event forecasting through sales analysis in collaboration with Buying and Marketing teams
  • Minimise shrinkages through implementation of improved forecasting accuracy
  • Process new and existing Purchase Orders for customers
  • Utilizing reports to conduct investigations as required
  • Contribute to the Sales, Operations and Account Management Team through presenting supply & demand data to internal & external stakeholders
  • Updating and maintaining spreadsheets and customer records
Responsibilities

For this role we would ideally like you to have:

  • Experience in using SAP (is required), SAP – APO experience would also be highly regarded
  • Previous experience working in a fast-paced customer service environment
  • Experience with forecasting/ replenishment
  • Intermediate skills in using Microsoft Excel
  • A customer-oriented mindset
  • Ability to be positive whilst showing, strategic agility and resilience
