JOB SUMMARY

The primary function of this position is to sort and process returned packages/garments from all customer channels while conforming to the requirements of internal and external Carhartt customers.

REQUIRED EDUCATION

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Basic Computer Skills required.
  • Warehouse and Distribution Center environment experience preferred.
  • Experience in quality or auditing preferred.
  • Attention to detail required.
  • Excellent written and oral communication.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Strength: Medium
  • Movement: Climbing, balancing, stooping, reaching, finger dexterity
  • Equipment used: office equipment
  • This position has an On-Site location: Associate will work on-site for all work-related activities.

Responsibilities
  • Sort returns after arrival based on return authorization type.
  • Ensure accurate review and processing of returned goods is within set procedural work methods.
  • Conduct accurate, neat, and timely reporting of all audits – completing D2C returns within a 24-hour period.
  • Scan garments through the customer return process for D2C, wholesale, and retail returns.
  • Analyze each return to ensure accurate return criteria were followed.
  • Accurately review garments for Carhartt quality compliance standards.
  • Inspect garments to determine inventory disposition, i.e. first quality, irregular, thirds, or to be destroyed.
  • Timely reporting of return discrepancies.
  • Assist in establishing and maintaining safety, housekeeping and preventative guidelines in assigned areas.
  • Report problems in work area to appropriate personnel.
