Customer Service Advisor

Bidfood Scotland are a leading wholesale food distributor covering the whole of Scotland consisting of five depots; Glasgow, Edinburgh, Inverness, Larbert and Oban. We pride ourselves on our close relationships with local suppliers and our ability to offer the best of Scotland’s larder to our customers. Our flexible infrastructure ensures that we are able to supply the entire Bidfood product range as a “one stop shop” to our customer base throughout Scotland, including the Highlands and Islands. Larbert is our hospitality hub that hosts Scotland’s customer experience centre that we use to help grow £14bn food and drink sector.

Within this role, you will be supporting our customer base dealing with, resolving delivery discrepancies/queries, and providing a high level of service to our customers. Liaising with internal departments is key to this role to ensure we rectify issues efficiently and effectively. You will handle and resolve a wide range of customer services issues on the phone, via email or your colleagues; using your excellent judgement and communication skills, and your passion for excellent service. Not only that, but you will seek to implement improvements to communication and processes to raise standards even further.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF ROLE:

  • Responding to Incoming/Outgoing Calls.
  • Liaising with internal departments, mainly via e-mail communication.
  • Completing associated admin/e-mails.
  • Creating call logs on discrepancies/enquiries.
  • Follow up resolution to customer.
  • Ability to identify continuous or ongoing issues.
