Description
  • Act as the first point of contact for customers by telephone, email and other communication channels.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to customer enquiries, requests and complaints.
  • Provide accurate information regarding battery collections, recycling services, collection requirements and service arrangements.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with customers.
  • Identify customer needs and coordinate appropriate solutions with internal teams.
  • Maintain a high standard of customer communication throughout the collection process.
  • Arrange and coordinate battery collections in conjunction with customers, transport and Site Operations Teams.
  • Monitor scheduled collections and proactively communicate delays, changes or issues.
  • Liaise with Transport and Site Operations department to ensure collections and deliveries are planned effectively.
  • Record and track collection requests and service updates within the company's systems inhouse system.
  • Escalate transport, collection or operational issues where required.
  • Ensure customer and collection information is recorded accurately and maintained in accordance with company procedures.
  • Support the completion and processing of relevant waste transfer, collection and recycling documentation.
  • Ensure information relating to battery types, quantities, locations and collection requirements is captured accurately.
  • Process orders, collection requests, quotations and other customer documentation as required.
  • Monitor outstanding customer enquiries and ensure they are followed through to resolution.
  • Support invoicing, account queries and other administrative activities where required.
