Reporting to the Operations Manager, we are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Customer Service Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional support to our clients, ensuring their needs are met with professionalism and efficiency. This role requires strong communication skills, a customer-centric mindset, and the ability to handle various tasks.

  • Essential – Proficient in Microsoft Office (word/Excel) and Outlook
  • Essential – High school diploma
  • Asset – Experience in a large retail and distribution and EDI company
  • Asset- Education or experience in Logistics transport
  • Asset- Knowledge of SAP and EDI systems

Responsibilities
  • Ensure efficient customer service (email/phone)
  • Respond to price and inventory availability inquiries
  • Request transport/ freight costs
  • Correspond daily with customers and company representatives
  • Offer the product that best meets our customer’s needs
  • Ensure efficient consumer service (email/phone)
  • Respond to consumers inquiries on our customers websites
  • Offer the product that best meets our customer’s needs
  • Suggest Sales Sites for the different products
  • Order processing in SAP/ EDI systems
  • Validate order entry accuracy in relation to purchase order (codes, prices, descriptions)
  • Verify agreements for exceptions
  • Calculate transport costs based on order
  • Ensure inventory availability and location site
  • Identify inventory issues in our customers system (CHUB)
  • Research and correct invoicing issues
  • Review customers requests upon invoicing issues in order to resolve
  • Research shipment details to validate material receiving issues
  • Other related administrative tasks
